Job summary

gpac, partnered with a community bank, is seeking an experienced Agricultural Lender to serve and grow the farm and agribusiness portfolio. You will build a portfolio of agricultural loans and cultivate relationships with farmers and agribusinesses.

Responsibilities include underwriting, presenting loan requests to the credit committee, monitoring portfolio health, and staying current on commodity markets and FSA programs. Local network is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of agricultural lending or ag credit analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of farm operations and agricultural economics.
• Experience with FSA programs is a plus.
• Established network in the local farming community preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in agricultural business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills and a relationship-focused approach.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $135,000 per year
