Job summary

gpac is partnering with a community bank to hire an experienced Agricultural Lender to serve and grow their farm and agribusiness portfolio in Ohio. You will build and manage a diversified loan book, including operating lines, equipment, livestock, and farm real estate, while deepening relationships with farmers and agribusinesses.

You will analyze financial statements, present loan requests to the credit committee, monitor portfolio quality, and stay current on commodity markets and FSA

Qualifications

• 3+ years of agricultural lending or ag credit analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of farm operations and agricultural economics.
• Experience with FSA programs is a plus.
• Established network in the local farming community preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in agricultural business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills and a relationship-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on commodity markets, crop insurance, and FSA guaranteed loan programs.
• Partner with branch and deposit teams to deepen customer relationships.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $135,000 per year
