Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in John Deere equipment.
• Experience with special tools and following Technical Manual procedures.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues.
• Experience with Service Advisor or equivalent diagnostic software.
• Positive attitude and commitment to customer experience.
• Good vehicle handling and operation of diagnostic equipment.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment.
• Performs repairs in the field as required.
• Develop a thorough understanding of all technology offerings.
• Accountable for billable time and documentation of diagnostics and repairs.
• Participate in required training programs to develop skills.
• Follow safety rules and regulations in performing work.
• Prepare reports and forms for work assignments.
• Maintain current product knowledge of John Deere and competitors.
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians.
