Qualifications

• At least 3 years of outside sales experience.
• Proven ability to win new business in competitive markets.
• Willingness to travel across the territory.
• Excellent communication and sales presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience with agricultural equipment or outdoor power equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing relationships and expanding customer pipelines.
• Implementing strategies to increase sales and profit by prospecting within the defined territory.
• Create customer-specific proposals based on detailed needs analysis.
• Conduct market research to produce competitive comparisons and industry trend insights.
• Maintain sales management information for all customers in the territory.
• Maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
• Provide timely communication to management about customer trends and needs.
• Stay current on financing options to assist customers with purchasing new/used equipment.
• Attend applicable sales training events and seminars.
