Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a farm hand to set, operate, and maintain equipment for harvesting and hauling crops. You will load and unload crops, bale hay, move cattle, and perform general farm tasks including field checks and basic shop work.

Experience of about 6 months is expected, and a driver's license is required within 30 days of starting. Housing and fully furnished meals are provided by the employer, with transport support and occasional reimbursements for travel.

Job description

Set, operate and maintain all types of farming equipment in order to harvest and haul grain and oilseed crops. Load and unload crops. Check fields and crop conditions. Bale and stack hay. Move cattle to and from summer grazing pastures. General farm related duties such as servicing equipment, farm building maintenance, and basic shop work.

Experience wanted: 6 months

Drivers license in 30-days. Clean driving record required

• Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
• Meals: Fully furnished kitchen provided. Workers will have access to grocery stores at least once per week.
• Transport: The employer will provide advance transportation for reasonable (most economical) common carrier or other transportation which conforms to the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC) inbound transportation (if it is the prevailing practice). If not the prevailing practice, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation costs and subsistence to the employer's work site when the worker completes 50% of the work period.
