H2ajobs in Holdrege, Nebraska is seeking workers for general agricultural duties related to the harvest. Responsibilities include operating tractors, combines, grain carts, trucks and other farm machinery, loading and transporting crops, and assisting with grain handling.

Work is outdoors, with lifting and bending; candidates should be prepared for extended hours during peak harvest. Housing and meals are provided, with transportation between housing and work sites.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in agricultural harvesting or related farm labor.
• Class D Driver's License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Willingness to work outdoors and extended hours during peak harvest.
• Ability to lift, bend, and climb.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractors, combines, grain carts, trucks and other farm machinery during harvest.
• Load, unload and transport harvested crops.
• Monitor and assist with grain handling and cleaning equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.

Description du poste

Perform general agricultural duties related to the harvesting of crops. Duties may include operating tractors, combines, grain carts,

trucks, and other farm machinery used during harvest; loading, unloading, and transporting harvested crops; monitoring and assisting

with grain handling; cleaning and maintaining equipment; performing minor equipment repairs and routine maintenance; preparing

equipment for daily operations; and cleaning work areas, grain bins, and farm facilities. Workers may also perform general farm labor

as needed to support harvesting operations, including occasional and minimal cattle-related duties when necessary. Work is performed

outdoors and may require lifting, bending, climbing, and working extended hours during peak harvest periods, depending on weather

and crop conditions

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Workers will have access with fully equipped kitchen facilities to prepare meals. Transportation available to travel between, housing, work and grocery stores to purchase food and groceries. Workers will be fully equipped to prepare lunch for work. Workers will not be charged for meals.

Class D Drivers License is required or should be able to obtain one within 30days of hire.
