Job summary

H2ajobs in Nebraska is seeking seasonal grain farm workers to perform duties including harvesting corn and other grain crops, operate farm machinery, haul grain, load/unload, and monitor grain storage.

Housing and meals are provided by the employer. Transportation between work sites and housing is arranged, and inbound/outbound travel may be reimbursed after completing portions of the contract. Experience required: 3 months.

Qualifications

• Seasonal farm work experience preferred (3 months).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license (Class D) or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Job description

Perform seasonal grain farm duties including harvesting corn and other grain crops; operate farm machinery and equipment used in harvesting; haul grain from fields to farm storage facilities and grain elevators; load, unload, and handle grain; monitor and assist with grain storage activities. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on agricultural equipment. Following harvest, clean, inspect, service, winterize, and store farm machinery and equipment, and prepare equipment for the next planting and growing season.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Fully equipped kitchen facilities are available to prepare meals. Workers will have transportation to travel between work, grocery stores to purchase meals and housing. Workers will be fully equipped to pack lunch for work. Workers will not be charged for meals.

Transport: Once worker complete 50% of their contract the inbound flight or most economical transportation will be reimbursed.

Once worker completes 100% of their contract the outbound transportation will be provided or reimbursed.

Experience wanted: 3 months

Workers should have a class D driver's license or be able to obtain one within 30days of hire. Workers should be able to lift up to 50lbs.
