Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking workers for seasonal harvest operations in South Dakota. Responsibilities include operating tractors, combines, grain carts, trucks, and other farm machinery, plus loading and transporting harvested crops.

Workers must follow safety procedures and assist with related tasks; housing is provided by the employer and meals facilities are available on site.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in harvesting or farm work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic farm equipment.
• Class D Drivers license required or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Harvest crops and operate tractors, combines, grain carts, trucks as needed.
• Load, unload, and transport harvested crops; monitor equipment.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
• Assist with other harvest-related tasks and follow safety procedures.

Job description

Perform general harvesting duties associated with the seasonal production of crops. Duties may include operating tractors, combines, grain carts, trucks, and other farm machinery used during harvest; loading, unloading, and transporting harvested crops; monitoring equipment during operation; performing routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs; cleaning equipment and work areas; handling and storing harvested crops; and assisting with other harvest‑related tasks as needed. Workers must follow all farm safety procedures and employer instructions.

General cattle‑related duties may be required from time to time; however, these duties will be minimal and incidental to the primary harvesting responsibilities.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Fully equipped kitchen facilities will be available to prepare and cook meals. Transportation is

available to travel to grocery stores to purchase food. workers will be equipped to prepare a lunchbox.

Workers will not be charged for meals.

Experience wanted: 3 months

Class D Drivers license required to operate Agriculture Equipment or should be able to obtain one within 30days of hire. Worker should be able to lift upto 50lbs.
