Job summary

Farm Credit East is seeking a Loan Officer to manage daily customer relationships and provide consultative lending across agribusiness or retail segments. You will analyze industry trends, maintain a 360-degree view of borrowers, and work with colleagues to drive cross-sell opportunities.

You will meet customer needs with proactive credit guidance while aligning with credit policy and risk management. A hybrid work arrangement after two months is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Knowledge of agriculture, finances, credit and credit administration. Strong marketing and interpersonal skills.
• Hybrid work options after two months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day customer relationships of credits within your segment (Agribusiness or Retail).
• Proactive portfolio management by understanding industry trends, market data and customer knowledge.
• Lead all customer-facing activities with support from loan coordinator or financial services.
• Create and maintain a documented 360-degree view of the customer in the core system.
• Collaborate with teammates to generate cross-selling and deliver best-in-class service.
• Review borrowers' financials, propose loan structures and pricing options.
