Job summary

FCCI Insurance Group seeks an Agribusiness Business Development Specialist to grow revenue and profitability across Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri. You will partner with underwriters to expand agency relationships, set goals, and drive sales of property and casualty products through independent agencies.

The role is field-based in the South Central US; requires the ability to manage multiple agency relationships, price, select new accounts, and provide direct policyholder service with strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
• Four or more years of commercial marketing and underwriting experience, preferably in agribusiness.
• Solid knowledge of underwriting processes, coverages, tools and company products and services.
• Knowledge of the independent agency system.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the marketing representative for assigned agencies and make decisions within authority on risk selection and pricing.
• Manage and maintain all agency relationships and business goals in the territory.
• Recommend agent appointments and terminations.
• Assist with marketing, training, and deployment of FCCI products and services.
