Job summary

NACOG is seeking a program services specialist to assess eligibility and coordinate support services for aging individuals. The role involves home visits, interviewing applicants, and maintaining accurate client records to ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field and at least two years of experience in a social service setting. Office skills and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, health services, human services, or related field required.
• Two years’ experience in a social service field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must verify identity and work eligibility per Federal law.

Responsibilities

• Conducts home visits and interviews applicants to assess eligibility for program services.
• Identifies program services that best meet clients' needs.
• Maintains and updates electronic client files for accuracy and compliance.
• Provides resource referrals and advocates for appropriate support services.
• Monitors services to ensure high-quality delivery and program compliance.
• Responds to public inquiries regarding program services.
