Job summary

KBR's National Security Solutions team seeks an Agile Systems Engineer to join the GED and provide SETA support for IC/DoD missions. You will design, develop, test, and deliver systems across hardware, software, and data analysis, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

This contingent role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a BS in a relevant field, and 5+ years in systems engineering within agile/DevOps environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience with leadership in technical projects.
• Proficiency in systems engineering tools and Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full software/system development lifecycle: design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, developers, QA, and operations to translate requirements into system solutions.
• Apply Agile principles to manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Design and implement system architectures ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Debug defects, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes promptly.
• Ensure systems meet quality, security, and regulatory standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
• Create and maintain clear design and implementation documentation.
