Job summary
General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support mission-critical systems with Agile teams.
You will work directly with government customers, developers, and UX teams to elicit requirements, translate them into stories, and help deliver high-quality software features. The role offers hybrid work with up to one telework day per week and requires US citizenship and Top Secret/SCI with poly clearance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science.
- Experience: 2+ years of related experience.
- Security clearance level: TOP SECRET//SCI W/ Poly.
- US citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Requirements gathering & decomposition from government customer and stakeholders.
- User story development with acceptance criteria for the development team.
- Sprint curation and backlog grooming.
- Developer support and blockers removal during the sprint.
- Initial testing to validate features against requirements.
- Customer presentations of new development and completed features.
- UX collaboration on new designs reflecting usability considerations.
- Active participation in Agile ceremonies and lifecycle.
