Job summary

Leidos seeks an experienced Scrum Master to stand up a new Agile development team in the Washington, DC area. You will coach the team, protect against scope creep, and drive SAFe ceremonies to ensure rapid, high‑quality delivery.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, Security+ or higher, Jira experience, and strong cross‑functional collaboration across multiple disciplines. On‑site work at a secure facility is required.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline with 8–12 years of experience, or Master’s with 6–10 years.
Security+ certification or higher/equivalent.
Experience as a Scrum Master on a software development or technical team.
CSM/SSM/PMI-ACP or similar agile certification.
Experience using Jira for agile project management.

Responsibilities

Facilitate self-organizing teams to meet Program Increment commitments.
Protect teams from scope creep during PI execution.
Remove impediments and coordinate with RTE/PM for solutions.
Coach teams on agile/scrum principles and continuous improvement.
Lead SAFe ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, demos, retrospectives, PI planning.
Develop User Stories with Product Owners to meet acceptance criteria.
