Job summary

Leidos is standing up a brand-new Agile development team in its Digital Sector to modernize federal IT infrastructure and deliver critical missions. The role requires on-site work at a secure Washington, DC facility as the program matures, with partial telework during early development.

The Agile Scrum Master will facilitate SAFe practices, coach teams, remove impediments, and ensure timely PI planning and delivery. A TS/SCI clearance and Security+ or higher are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance (required).
• Security+ or higher/equivalent.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6–10 years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience as a Scrum Master on software/technical teams.
• CSM, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or PMI-ACP certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate self-organizing teams to meet Program Increment commitments.
• Protect teams from scope creep during PI execution.
• Remove impediments and coordinate with Release Train Engineer or PM.
• Coach teams on Scrum and Kanban; drive continuous improvement.
• Lead SAFe ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, review, demos, retrospectives, PI planning.
• Develop User Stories with Product Owners and meet feature acceptance criteria.
• Mentor junior Scrum Masters and foster agile maturity.
