Steampunk is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery execution for data, AI governance, and security/identity workstreams within a large federal advisory program. Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years with Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
• Bachelor's degree required; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Scheduling, performance measurement, and executive reporting skills.
• Ability to influence across technical, mission, and stakeholder groups.
• Experience in complex technical/engineering delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Track deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and risks for assigned workstreams.
• Apply financial management, acquisition support, and performance measurement practices.
• Partner with SMEs and architecture leadership to keep delivery on track.
• Report workstream status into the integrated schedule and leadership reviews.
• Maintain results-oriented relationships with client stakeholders.
• Manage workstream team members and facilitate technical discussions to resolve issues.
• Assess delivery environment and tailor Agile practices for the workstream.
• Support Agile ceremonies and remove blockers to keep delivery on track.
• Evaluate feasibility and accelerate delivery where possible.
• Provide guidance to client stakeholders in challenging situations.
• Support staff training and development to build skills and career growth.
