Job summary

Nabors in Houston is seeking an Assistant Project Lead to assist the Project Manager in achieving objectives, managing scope, schedule, and budget, and guiding small to medium project components. You will work with cross-functional teams and ensure safe, efficient execution of the work.

The role emphasizes project management knowledge, performance, and strong interpersonal behavior, with guidance from senior leaders. A minimum of one year leading projects or teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, sciences, or mathematics.
• At least 1 year of project and/or team management experience.
• PM certification (PMP) is a plus but not required.
• English reading, writing and speaking skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project components assigned by the Project Manager with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in proposals and tenders through development of presentations, pricing, contracts, and specs.
• Develop and oversee project planning documents including schedules, scope of work, budgets and risk management.
• Direct and manage execution of project team members; ensure safety in all aspects.
• Act as primary interface between client, contractors, and internal orgs; convey technical and financial information.
• Monitor project work with reporting, schedule maintenance, and cost budgeting; control changes.
