Job summary

Nabors is seeking an Assistant Project Lead for Houston, TX. You will assist the Project Manager in achieving objectives, managing execution, scope, schedule, and budget for small to medium project components within cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong project management knowledge and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead under guidance from senior leadership and ensure safe, compliant delivery of project activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field (engineering, sciences, or mathematics).
• At least 1 year of project management or team leadership experience.
• Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage project components assigned by the Project Manager across cross-functional teams.
• Support initiation with proposals, tenders, pricing, contracts, and technical specs.
• Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and QA.
• Direct engineers, controls specialists, inspectors, and contractors to safe, on-time execution.
• Interface with clients and vendors, conveying schedule and financial information.
• Monitor progress, report performance, and manage scope changes.
