Job summary

GE Vernova in the United States seeks an Agile ITR Lead Engineer for Conversions, Modifications, and Uprates (CM&Us) Services to lead technical and operational execution from inquiry through order receipt and outage execution in the Americas region.

This role requires strong leadership, deep heavy-duty gas turbine knowledge, and at least 8 years of relevant experience, with travel less than 10% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Deep knowledge of heavy-duty gas turbine technology.
• Significant experience in Engineering, Technology, or Customer Project Engineering.
• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of CM&U inquiry-to-order and order execution processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for internal stakeholders across Sales, Commercial Operations, Project Management, Sourcing, and Engineering for Agile ITR-related matters in the Americas region.
• Balance responsibilities approximately 50/50 between leading team task assignments and providing hands-on ITR execution.
• Provide technical expertise and develop technical solutions as part of the inquiry-to-order and order-to-remittance process.
• Review customer inquiry inputs and gate requests to ensure scope clarity and actionable direction.
• Support and guide ITR engineers during proposal creation and technical reviews.
• Review order-entry requests and manage work assignments to support downstream engineering.
• Manage technical and operational escalations from stakeholders.
• Monitor team capacity and workload distribution to support on-time delivery.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvement actions with Lean principles.
• Support key operational activities like short cycle requests and change orders.
