Job summary

Gunnison Consulting Group in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced delivery leader to manage software development teams and drive Agile projects to successful completion. You will coordinate roadmaps, sprints, and stakeholder communications, balance competing priorities, and mentor engineers while advancing security practices and CI/CD discussions.

This role requires strong communication, risk management, and a track record of delivering complex solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced

Qualifications

4+ years of experience leading teams of developers and delivering software projects using Agile.
Experience with Scrum and Kanban, Jira, and GitHub Issues for delivery tracking.
Roadmap creation, sprint planning, backlog prioritization.
Strong stakeholder communication with executives and technical teams.
Proactive risk management and mitigation.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; certified preferred.

Responsibilities

Managing team resources, identifying and removing blockers, and ensuring delivery of solutions.
Have effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment, including sharing progress, asking for help when needed, and providing constructive feedback.
Maintain knowledge and skills on existing and emerging agile best practices, technologies relevant to supported projects, security best practices, etc.
