Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Software Developer (Agile / DevSecOps) to perform secure software development for government data centers and cloud. Location includes Fort Hood, TX and related sites with required clearance.

Qualifications include US citizenship, English proficiency, DoD 8140/8570-M baseline certification, and a high school diploma. Responsibilities cover sprint development, backlog ownership, and CI/CD support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• US citizenship required.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English proficiently.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software.
• Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI eligibility for certain classified work.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, secure, and deploy software increments each sprint.
• Elicit and document user stories with acceptance criteria and maintain backlog.
• Develop in Government-approved languages (e.g., .NET, Java, C#, C++) under change management.
• Apply secure coding and threat modeling to eliminate vulnerabilities before production.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments in government data centers and cloud.
