Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Software Developer (Agile / DevSecOps) for Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This full-time role includes development, security testing, and deployment across unclassified and classified environments within Government data centers and cloud.

The candidate will work on ADSS, PMM, VDLS, CCIR, ATTM, TESTFACS, TDAP, OIP, and SharePoint/PowerApps solutions, ensuring secure coding and compliance with DoD frameworks. A Secret clearance and DoD certifications are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI eligibility required for certain duties.
• DoD 8140/8570-M baseline certification must be obtained within six months.

Responsibilities

Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

Clearance required: Secret minimum (Tier 3 / T3R); Top Secret / SCI eligible (Tier 5 / T5R) required to administer classified systems or networks or for critical- or special-sensitive duties.

Scope of Work:

Performs Agile and DevSecOps software development, sustainment, and modernization for ATEC management systems and web applications across unclassified and classified environments, in Government data centers and commercial cloud.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Develop, test, secure, and deploy software increments each sprint (not exceeding four weeks) against a Government-prioritized backlog
• Elicit and document user stories with testable acceptance criteria and maintain the product backlog, architecture, and release plan
• Develop in Government-approved languages (.NET, Java, C#, C++, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, ColdFusion, and others) under a strict change-management process
• Apply secure coding, static and dynamic analysis, and threat modeling to eliminate High/CAT I and Moderate/CAT II vulnerabilities before production
• Sustain and modernize applications including ADSS, PMM, VDLS, CCIR, ATTM, TESTFACS, TDAP, OIP, and SharePoint/PowerApps solutions
• Support CI/CD pipelines, source code management, and deployment in Government data centers and commercial cloud (AWS, Azure)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
• U.S. citizenship
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software
• Active Secret clearance; Top Secret / SCI eligibility (Tier 5 / T5R) required for classified system development
• DoD 8140 / 8570.01-M baseline certification appropriate to the assigned work role and level, held prior to performance, with the required computing environment (CE) certification obtained within six (6) months of appointment.
