Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Scrum Master in the United States to enable cross-functional delivery squads to achieve predictable value while maintaining quality and security.

You will coach teams in agile practices, remove impediments, and provide delivery visibility using standard metrics and dashboards. The role emphasizes DevOps, automation, and AI-enabled productivity in a large enterprise context.

Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master I or II (PSMI/II), or equivalent agile delivery qualification.
• Agile coaching, Kanban, Lean, Product or DevOps certification. (Desirable)
• SAFe or other scaled-delivery certification. (Desirable)
• Equivalent experience within technology, digital, software engineering or product delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coach squads in agile principles.
• Identify and remove impediments; support planning and cross-squad dependencies.
• Mentor squad members and stakeholders in agile practices.
• Use delivery metrics to identify risks and improve flow.
• Build relationships across technology and MAXIMUS; communicate dependencies.
• Promote DevOps, automation and responsible AI-enabled productivity.
• Maintain delivery information in the platform as single source of truth.
