Job summary

Optimum in New York is seeking a Project Manager in the Data & Analytics group to plan, coordinate, and deliver data initiatives using Agile methodologies. You will partner with stakeholders, scrum masters, data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and architects to ensure projects deliver value on time, within scope, and with high quality.

The role requires PMI/CSM/SAFe certification and 5 years of PM experience in tech or analytics, with hands-on use of Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.

Qualifications

• 5 years of project or program management experience, preferably in technology, data or analytics.
• Demonstrated experience in an Agile environment using Scrum, Kanban or hybrid methods.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and dependencies with PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project scope, cost, schedule, risks/issues, procurement and communications.
• Apply Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid Agile approaches as needed by the project.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Scrum of Scrums, PI planning and portfolio syncs.
• Partner with 3rd party suppliers, data engineers, analysts and stakeholders to set priorities and commitments.
• Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues, dependencies and blockers affecting delivery.
• Develop and communicate PI plans, roadmaps and expected benefits to executives.
