Job summary

Optimum Communications Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in the Data & Analytics department to plan, coordinate, and deliver analytics initiatives using Agile methodologies.

You will partner with stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, data scientists, architects and technology teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. The role requires coordinating scope, budget, schedules, risks, and procurement while leveraging Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence to drive measurable business value.

Qualifications

• PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PSM, SAFe, or similar certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Data, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of project or program management experience, preferably supporting technology, data or analytics initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid methodologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and complex project dependencies.
• Experience with project and Agile management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• The Project Manager will be directly responsible for managing/overseeing project scope, cost, schedule, risks/issues, procurement and communications.
• Apply Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid Agile approaches based on project and team needs.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including: Scrum of scrum, PI planning, Portfolio syncs, PI retrospectives.
• Partner with 3rd party suppliers and internal stakeholders to define priorities, quarterly commitments, success measures and dependencies.
• Identify, manage, and elevate project risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers.
• Develop, maintain and communicate PI plans, roadmaps and benefits to stakeholders including executives.
• Track delivery of scrum teams using Agile metrics such as sprint velocity, burndown/burnup, cycle time, throughput, and delivery predictability.
• Create project procurement management plans detailing needs, quantities, and timelines for renewals and new contracts.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage vendor relationships, and resolve delivery issues.
• Track spending against the project budget and report financial variances early.
