Job summary

TrustedHousesitters is seeking an Agile Coach to enable Product Engineering squads across the full lifecycle—from problem definition to delivery, release and outcome measurement. You’ll embed with one or two squads at a time to build trust and drive measurable change.

You’ll work with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, Data Analysts, and leadership to implement dual-track discovery, product-centric planning, and outcomes-focused delivery, while maintaining a flexible, pragmatic approach.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Agile Coach with cross-functional, self-organising teams.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric scale-ups.
• Experience in a remote-first, high-performance company.
• Deep understanding of Agile and Lean thinking and principles.
• Hands-on with multiple frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, XP) and blending them.
• Experience teaching Agile practices like user story mapping and event storming.
• Coaching teams toward outcomes over output and ongoing discovery.
• Ability to hold teams accountable to agreed practices and close gaps.

Responsibilities

• Coach squads to embed agile and product-centric practices enabling dual-track discovery and delivery.
• Guide teams to mature delivery and adopt product-centered planning and prioritisation.
• Coach teams on outcomes, not just outputs, and measure customer and business impact.
• Facilitate team meetings (refinement, retrospectives, planning) as needed.
• Help drive a shift-left quality approach and unblock blockers through dialogue.
• Advise on metrics to improve team effectiveness and trajectory.
• Act as a catalyst for change, embedding an agile mindset without one-size-fits-all.
• Keep roadmaps and delivery plans visually clear and consistent across squads.
• Own cadence of cross-squad sessions and share learnings across teams.
• Spot where AI can speed teams up and integrate into daily practices.
