Job summary

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to drive enterprise-scale Agile and operating model transformation initiatives across portfolios, value streams, and product organizations. The role will work closely with executive leadership, transformation offices, business stakeholders, product leadership, and engineering teams to define and operationalize Agile operating models, governance structures, AI-enabled delivery practices, and scalable ways of working aligned to business outcomes. The ideal candidate will lead transformation efforts for assigned value streams or portfolios, ensuring transformation objectives, operating model adoption, delivery predictability, and measurable business outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Transformation Leadership

• Lead Agile and operating model transformation initiatives across portfolios, value streams, and product organizations.
• Partner with leadership and transformation teams to define and implement Agile operating models, governance frameworks, and value-stream-oriented ways of working.
• Drive adoption of product-centric delivery models aligned with DevOps, engineering excellence, and AI-enabled Agile practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor and change agent for leadership and delivery organizations.
• Manage transformation outcomes for assigned value streams or portfolios.
• Support quarterly planning, PI planning, dependency management, and governance forums.

Leadership Coaching & Governance

• Facilitate leadership workshops focused on:
• OKRs and outcome management
• Coach leadership, RTEs, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and Agile teams.
• Establish governance models balancing agility, quality, compliance, and predictability.
• Define and implement transformation metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.

Organizational Assessment & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct enterprise and portfolio-level Agile maturity and operating model assessments.
• Define customer-specific maturity models and transformation roadmaps.
• Track transformation progress and provide executive-level insights and recommendations.
• Build internal Agile capability and sustainable coaching practices.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in enterprise Agile transformation and coaching roles.
• Proven experience leading large-scale Agile and operating model transformations in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong experience working with portfolio, value stream, and leadership-level stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience with scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, or Disciplined Agile.
• Experience working with both Application Development and AMS/Support organizations.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery, DevOps, product operating models, Lean Portfolio Management, and AI-enabled Agile practices.
• Experience working with distributed global teams and multi-geo delivery models.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and leadership coaching skills.
• Experience conducting transformation assessments and leadership workshops.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAFe SPC, ICP-ENT, ICP-ACC, or equivalent Agile certifications.
• Prior software engineering or development background.
• Experience with Jira Align, Jira, Azure DevOps, or enterprise Agile tools.
• Exposure to AI-assisted delivery, Agile analytics, or AI-enabled engineering practices.
• Experience in North American enterprise transformation programs preferred.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range Minimum: $165,000 per year
• Pay Range Maximum: $245,000 per year

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
