Job summary

Information Management Group (IMG) in Washington, DC is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our on-site team. You will collaborate with the Program Manager and Application Developers to develop, prioritize, and manage backlogs, track meetings, and provide weekly status updates.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Agile/Scrum, and the ability to gather stakeholder feedback before production release.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret or DOE Q clearance.
• Understanding the full software development lifecycle from design to maintenance.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and backlog management.
• Ability to gather, document, and prioritize requirements with stakeholders and developers.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day management of application production using Agile and Scrum practices.
• Develop, prioritize, and manage backlog items with program managers and stakeholders.
• Lead sprint planning meetings with developers, product managers, and enterprise applications staff.
• Lead sprint reviews to gather feedback and demonstrate completed work based on requirements.
• Lead requirements gathering to capture stakeholders' needs for software development.
• Document and track risks and escalate as needed to staff.
• Use data-driven metrics to monitor developer time on task and improve workflows.
• Coordinate backlog refinement and align long-term objectives.
• Brief staff and facilitate Planning Increment meetings to refine requirements.
