Job summary

Leidos is standing up a brand-new Agile development team in the Digital Sector to advance federal IT modernization and deliver critical data-driven solutions. The Business Analyst will capture business and user requirements, write detailed stories and epics, and collaborate with product owners, SMEs, and dev teams to define acceptance criteria.

You will facilitate meetings, author technical and training content, and support governance and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
• On-site work in Washington, DC.
• Level III: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4–8 years of relevant experience; Level IV: Bachelor's +8–12 years (or Master's +6+).
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of data and/or software architecture.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum).

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Build datasets and visualizations to support reporting and analytics.
• Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and maintain data dictionaries.
• Diagnose and resolve data issues and perform manual updates.
• Manage and update user stories in Jira.
• Document current processes and design improved future-state workflows.
• Establish governance and lifecycle processes for key data domains.
• Conduct focus groups and synthesize qualitative findings with survey data.
• Mentor junior team members and support project delivery.
• Execute engineering activities including planning, integration, testing, documentation, deployment, and evaluation.
• Partner with business and digital teams to align with roadmaps and integrate data across systems.
