Job summary

US Aggregates is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect samples and conduct routine and special laboratory testing on construction aggregates. You will verify results, maintain data records, and help troubleshoot field and jobsite issues to ensure product quality and consistency.

Key duties include collecting samples from stockpiles, performing mandated INDOT tests, and maintaining certifications while upholding safety and cleanliness in the lab and work areas.

Qualifications

• INDOT certification preferred.
• MSHA training preferred.
• Experience with INDOT, CAPP and aggregate lab testing preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team.
• Available to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Gather quality samples from large aggregate stockpiles.
• Perform INDOT required and aggregate quality testing while maintaining paperwork.
• Maintain current INDOT certifications.
• Maintain laboratory, stairs, and catwalks in proper order and cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Contribute to ongoing growth aligned with company values and skills.
