Job summary

The Aggregate Technician at Aggregate Mineral Resource Group, LLC. supports production, sampling, testing, and QA across quarry facilities.

You will perform Caltrans-compliant testing and maintain documentation to ensure materials meet project specifications for construction and roadway projects. Key responsibilities include field sampling, laboratory tests, data analysis, and collaboration with operations to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

• Caltrans aggregate testing certifications required.
• 2–5 years in aggregate testing, quality control, or quarry operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of testing procedures and material specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform aggregate sampling, testing, and QC per Caltrans standards.
• Conduct lab and field tests: gradation, moisture, density, sand equivalent.
• Collect and document samples from quarry, crushing, stockpiles.
• Maintain testing records and QA documentation.
• Ensure materials meet Caltrans specs and project requirements.
• Collaborate with operations to address quality issues.
• Travel between sites as needed.
