Job summary

WJ Graves Construction in Massachusetts is seeking a plant maintenance technician to support our aggregate and crushing operations. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment, and operate a loader as needed.

Responsibilities include running conveyors, screens, and crushers; greasing parts, clearing jams, welding and fabrication; and safeguarding the work area in compliance with MSHA and environmental rules. A valid driver's license and DOT certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Comfort climbing ladders and working around heavy industrial machinery.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, welding, and equipment troubleshooting.
• A strong commitment to following safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant machinery and run conveyors, screens, and crushers; monitor plant operations.
• Grease parts, clear jams, perform welding and fabrication, and fix broken equipment.
• Routinely inspect work area and machinery for safety; follow MSHA regulations and environmental requirements.
• Maintain safe vehicle operation and comply with all safety policies.
