Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials is seeking an Aggregate Maintenance Coordinator to oversee maintenance of crushers, screens, conveyors and other processing equipment in our aggregate production operation. You will lead preventive maintenance programs, coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors, monitor performance data, and drive safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
• Experience maintaining heavy machinery in aggregate production or similar industries.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities for coordinating activities.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency with CMMS for planning and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a preventive maintenance program with staff/contractors to prioritize tasks by production needs.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, minimize downtime, and use data to fix recurring issues.
• Promote safety-first culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and conduct inspections with corrective actions.
• Maintain critical spare parts inventory and coordinate purchasing within budget guidelines.
• Train maintenance staff and address skill gaps to support professional growth.
• Improve maintenance processes, reduce costs, and enhance equipment reliability.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and report on performance, costs, and downtime.
