Job summary

Walbec Group seeks an Aggregate Plant Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations across processing plants. You will develop and optimize preventative programs, supervise crews, and drive reliability improvements while ensuring safety and OSHA/MSHA compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of industrial maintenance with supervisory experience, knowledge of crushers and conveyors, and proficiency in CMMS equivalents. Travel locally may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial maintenance (aggregate/mining/heavy manufacturing)
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors, hydraulics, bearings, gearboxes, welding, fabrication
• Basic understanding of motors, VFDs, electrical controls
• MSHA/OSHA knowledge
• Proficiency with CMMS software and Office tools

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and ethical work environment.
• Develop scheduled and preventative maintenance programs.
• Perform equipment assessments and maintain asset condition records.
• Coordinate maintenance events from work order creation through closeout.
• Support plant breakdowns during production season.
• Manage maintenance crews during production and outages.
• Train personnel on maintenance and operation of aggregate equipment.
• Develop predictive and preventative maintenance strategies.
• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with capital planning, budgets, ROI evaluations, and spare parts management.
• Support operations training, scheduling, planning, and work order processes.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues.
• Support plant optimization and material processing improvements.
• Assist with new technologies and manufacturing initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance personnel.
• Standardize maintenance practices across operations.
• Monitor KPIs: downtime, PM compliance, equipment availability.
• Promote Equipment360 utilization and continuous improvement.
