Job summary

The Walbec Group is seeking an Aggregate Plant Maintenance Supervisor to support day-to-day maintenance, improve reliability, and train staff across our aggregate processing facilities in the Midwest. You will be pivotal in developing preventive maintenance programs and coordinating work orders to keep production running smoothly.

Under the Manufacturing Maintenance Manager, you will lead maintenance crews, drive safety compliance, and implement corrective actions for equipment failures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in aggregate, mining, asphalt, or heavy manufacturing.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors, hydraulics, bearings, gearboxes, welding, and fabrication.
• Basic understanding of motors, VFDs, and electrical controls.
• Knowledge of MSHA and OSHA regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CMMS software, preferably HCSS Equipment360.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance personnel.
• Standardize maintenance practices across aggregate operations.
• Monitor KPIs including downtime, PM compliance, and equipment availability.
• Promote continuous improvement and Equipment360 utilization.
• Manage maintenance crews during production and outages.
• Assist with capital planning, budgets, ROI evaluations, and spare parts management.
