Job summary

Quikrete is seeking an Aggregate Foreman to supervise daily aggregate operations, lead production crews, and ensure safe, efficient performance. You will plan and direct activities with the Plant Manager, review equipment reports, and maintain product quality on a day-to-day basis.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong safety discipline, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams. Occasional travel to other sites may be required; strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop relationships and to work with teams as both a leader and a participant.
• A working knowledge of customer specifications will be necessary to ensure a quality project avoiding re‑work or punch list work.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills; building rapport, listening, presenting, giving and receiving feedback.
• High standard of ethics, integrity and trust.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background check.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures outlined in Employee Handbook.
• Moderate travel required; must be willing to work in or travel to other locations as needed.
• Must be available as needed during non‑traditional work hours.
• Must be able to work independently and with groups.
• Must be able to work under time constraints as needed.
• 1-2 years previous quarry/mining experience preferred
• 2 or more years of experience on plan maintenance/preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct operations in coordination with the Plant Manager and Operations coordinator.
• Review daily equipment inspection reports and respond accordingly.
• Monitor all plant personnel to make sure all training, safety, production and staffing needs are being met.
• Complete daily production, safety and maintenance reports accurately
• Responsible for maintaining quality of all products
• Maintain housekeeping and appearance standards as established
• Assist with equipment repairs and housekeeping as needed
