Job summary

Gary Merlino Construction Co., Inc is seeking an Aggregate Dispatcher for our Renton facility. You will dispatch dump trucks, schedule drivers by seniority and hours, take and schedule orders, and coordinate material orders with aggregation experience.

Ideal candidates will have CDL (preferred) or be able to obtain one, and possess strong data entry, multi-tasking, and expert telephone skills to handle high call volumes while ensuring safety records and driver training compliance.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred or obtainable.
• Courteous, professional phone manner.
• Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling high call volume (up to 100 calls/day).
• Ability to prioritize and solve problems in real time.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch dump trucks and schedule drivers by seniority and hours.
• Take and schedule orders; coordinate driver communications.
• Order materials experience with Aggregate for planning.
• Oversee and coach drivers; manage attendance and records.

Position Summary

• Dispatch dump trucks
• Schedule drivers with respect to seniority and hours worked
• Take and schedule orders
• Order materials experience with Aggregate
• Oversee drivers
• Schedule and arrange drivers for various required training, testing, and reviews
• Keep records of driver attendance and coaching
• Keep records and report driver injuries and accidents to appropriate parties

Requirements/qualifications

• Prefer a CDL or can obtain one
• Answer phones in a courteous, professional manner
• Computer and Data entry skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
• Experience with high call volume - up to 100 calls per day
• Ability to prioritize and problem solve quickly in real time situations
