Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a customer-facing Senior Solution Engineer to join the Federal Public Sector SE team, leading discovery, POC design, and activation of Agentic Government Cloud solutions for federal agencies.

You will translate complex requirements into scalable architectures, present to GS/Executive leadership, and collaborate with security and enterprise teams to achieve technical outcomes. This role requires US Citizenship and deep skills in SQL/SOQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and AI fluency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years customer-facing solution/technical architecture experience.
• Degree in Computer Science (BS/MS/PhD).
• Proficiency with Salesforce Core and the Data 360/Agentforce stack.
• Agentic AI fluency: understanding of LLMs, RAG/grounding, evaluation concepts.
• Experience with agentic engineering tools.
• This role requires leading discovery to define use cases and execution plans.
• Executive + technical communication with C-suite.
• Deep knowledge of multi-tier architectures including SQL/SOQL.
• Willingness to enable growth through enablement and certifications.
• US Citizenship Required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and business discovery with federal stakeholders to scope agentic use cases and ROI.
• Build demonstrations and POCs showing autonomous AI agents for federal workflows.
• Deliver world-class product demonstrations showing how Salesforce solves agency missions.
• Create end-to-end architectures integrating Agentic Platform with security requirements.
• Design and lead hands-on technical workshops for IT leads and Enterprise Architects.
• Present solutions to GS/Executive leadership with clarity and impact.
• Lead RFI/RFP responses ensuring technical accuracy and security compliance.
• Drive activation with customers on definition, configuration, and deployment strategies.
• Identify automation opportunities to accelerate activation and reduce friction.
• Build reusable accelerators and enable scale delivery across teams.
• Incorporate Voice of the Customer into Product messaging and roadmaps.
• Leverage third-party tools and AI-assisted coding for rapid development.
