Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a leading AI infrastructure consultancy, is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to build and maintain the foundational platform for GenAI applications, AI agents, automation workflows, and model integrations.

You will configure cloud and hybrid environments, ensure security and connectivity, and collaborate with AI engineers and client teams to deliver scalable, reliable AI infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Engineer the infrastructure foundation for AI applications and automation tools.
• Configure and validate cloud and hybrid environments for AI solutions.
• Develop and apply automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code patterns.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and reliability controls for AI platforms.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and client technical teams to deliver scalable and secure AI infrastructure.
