Job summary

CrossCountry Consulting is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer & Agentic Workflow Engineer to design, deploy, and manage production-grade AI solutions for CFO and enterprise functions on client engagements.

You will join the AI Innovation & Transformation practice, collaborating with finance and IT teams to deliver agentic workflows, ensure SOX/audit-readiness, and iterate rapidly on client projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in AI/LLM application development or agentic systems.
• Hands-on experience building multi-agent systems with LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript; FastAPI is a plus.
• Understanding of LLM capabilities, prompts, function calling, and memory management.
• Experience integrating enterprise source systems via APIs and MCP connectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of AI deployment services for clients.
• Architect and implement multi-agent workflows and tool-use patterns.
• Write and optimize prompts, structured outputs, and retrieval strategies.
• Integrate with ERP, EPM, CRM systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Package agents as microservices and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to practice accelerators.
