Job summary

Mercor is hiring its first dedicated Procurement Operations hire to design and run the intake-to-PO lifecycle, from vendor onboarding to PO creation and self-service purchasing. You’ll work across Finance, Legal, Security, and Engineering to optimize processes and scale the business.

In this role, you will re-architect procurement with AI, build dashboards, and establish controls while partnering with AP to ensure data quality and smooth operations for a high-growth tech company.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of procurement operations experience at a high-growth tech company.
• Direct experience building procurement processes from zero—intake, approval matrices, vendor onboarding.
• Deep familiarity with procurement/P2P tooling and automation bias.
• Comfort with evaluating AI tools and agents, verifying output.

Responsibilities

• Design and launch intake-to-procure process end-to-end and run day-to-day.
• Identify where AI and automation can reduce manual work and implement it.
• Support vendor master data quality and PO accuracy with cross-functional partners.
• Provide guidance on procurement tools, policy, and training materials.
