Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a skilled AI solutions engineer to design and deliver agentic AI systems. You will translate business needs into practical technical designs and prototypes, leveraging Claude API and modern integration patterns.

The role emphasizes reliable agent workflows, data integrity, and safety. Ideal candidates have hands-on GenAI experience, strong API integration skills, and experience with databases and cloud services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years in software/data/analytics engineering or related technical roles.
2+ years building GenAI, LLM, or agentic solutions.
Experience with Claude API, Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

Build and support agentic AI solutions using Claude, API integrations, and modern application development practices.
Translate business and workflow needs into technical designs and working prototypes including Custom Skills.
Develop reliable agent workflows that use tools, structured outputs, retrieval, and human review where appropriate.
Contribute to design of solution patterns balancing usability, performance, maintainability, and safety.
Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems through APIs, services, and data pipelines.
Support read-oriented and low-risk workflow integrations with common business systems and internal applications.
Work with relational databases and related data storage patterns to support application state, retrieval, and auditability.
