Job summary

Zeal, an AI-enabled software consultancy, is hiring a highly capable Agentic Engineer to design and ship agentic AI systems in production. You will work with Fortune 1000 clients to build scalable, reliable solutions, ensure safety and observability, and collaborate with security teams on enterprise delivery.

You will leverage Azure and AWS cloud AI offerings to deploy multi-step agent architectures, implement tool calls, and develop robust evaluation and grounding checks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and shipping production agent systems.
• Ability to explain architectural decisions and tradeoffs.
• Deep knowledge of cloud AI services and production safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-step agent systems including orchestration and tool calls.
• Build integrations between agents and enterprise systems via APIs and tools.
• Develop evaluation frameworks with guardrails and human-in-the-loop checks.
• Instrument observability for traceability, latency, and cost.
• Maintain state/memory across long workflows and ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with client engineering and security teams during reviews.
