Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in a technical field and 12+ years of experience or equivalent per contract.
• Experience building AI/ML or conversational AI applications.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
• Understanding of Agentic AI, orchestration, and workflow automation.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of NLP, ASR, TTS, and conversational technologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to meet federal background/suitability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop Agentic AI capabilities to modernize IVR and contact center platforms.
• Build conversational agents with intent understanding, context retention, and multistep task execution.
• Integrate LLMs, NLP, speech technologies, and voice interfaces.
• Create APIs, microservices, and back‑end integrations connecting AI solutions to enterprise systems.
• Design agent orchestration workflows and automated decisioning.
• Integrate with leading IVR/contact center platforms (e.g., Amazon Connect, Lex, Genesys Cloud).
• Optimize prompts, RAG pipelines, and agent workflows.
• Collaborate across engineering, architecture, and business teams to translate requirements.
• Test, evaluate, and improve AI performance, accuracy, reliability, and latency.
• Support Agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, documentation, and code reviews.
• Ensure compliance with federal security, accessibility, and related standards.

• Experience with Lambda, API Gateway, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures
• Integration with legacy federal systems
• Knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards (NIST 800‑53, FISMA)
• Experience supporting civilian federal agencies
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements
