Planet Group seeks an Agentic AI Consultant to lead governance, security, and deployment of autonomous AI agents from Irving, TX (hybrid onsite).

The role combines AI engineering with enterprise risk management to ensure safe, compliant, and explainable agentic workflows with HITL safeguards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technology consulting, AI/data engineering, or cloud security architecture.
• Hands-on expertise with autonomous agent patterns, multi-agent orchestration, and HITL frameworks.
• Strong Python proficiency for reviewing agentic code, pipelines, and API integrations.
• Experience in the Azure & Databricks ecosystems (Azure OpenAI, Key Vault, Unity Catalog, MLflow).
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and AI risk/privacy standards.
• Based in or willing to work hybrid onsite in Irving, TX.

Responsibilities

• AI Governance & Security: Build risk frameworks, threat models, and guardrails against prompt injection, unauthorized tool execution, data exfiltration, and model drift.
• HITL & Workflow Design: Operationalize Human-in-the-Loop decision gates, approval workflows, and audit logging for critical decision nodes.
• Architecture & Cloud Integration: Advise on scaling agentic frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel) using Python, Azure OpenAI / AI Foundry, and Azure Databricks (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake).
• Executive Advisory: Translate complex AI safety concepts and code into clear recommendations for executives, legal teams, and security leaders.

Position: Agentic AI Consultant (Governance & Security)
Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid Onsite)
Rate: $75.00-$80.00 per hour on a W2 basis
Type: Full-Time Hybrid Contract - No C2C in any form or Sponsorship Available

About the Role

We are seeking an Agentic AI Consultant to lead the strategic deployment, governance, and security of autonomous AI agents. You will bridge cutting-edge AI engineering with enterprise risk management–ensuring agentic workflows are secure, compliant, explainable, and built with robust Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) safeguards.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Governance & Security: Build risk frameworks, threat models, and guardrails against prompt injection, unauthorized tool execution, data exfiltration, and model drift.
