Job summary

The Stephen Knight Agency, proudly representing Farmers Insurance in Belding, MI, is seeking motivated individuals to join our sales team. This role offers base pay plus uncapped commissions and extensive training to help you succeed in auto, home, life, and business insurance sales.

You'll build a strong pipeline through outbound calls, referrals, and community outreach while providing outstanding service and ongoing coaching for career growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Willingness to obtain Michigan licenses (P&C, Life & Health).
• Sales or customer-facing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound calls, follow-ups, referrals, networking and community outreach.
• Identify client needs and recommend Auto, Home, Life, Business and specialty insurance solutions.
• Explain coverage options and help customers make informed decisions.
• Manage the full sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent follow-up.
• Develop lasting relationships through policy reviews and cross-selling opportunities.

• Connect with prospective customers, identify their needs, and recommend personalized Auto, Home, Life, Business, and specialty insurance solutions.

• Explain coverage options clearly and help customers make informed decisions about protecting what matters most.

• Manage the full sales process, from prospecting and preparing quotes to handling objections and closing sales.

• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent communication and organized follow-up.

• Develop lasting customer relationships through policy reviews, cross-selling opportunities, and exceptional service.

• Work toward individual and agency production goals while continuously improving your sales skills.
