Job summary

Firecrawl is seeking a product-minded engineer to own how agents discover, understand, and use Firecrawl. You will ship fast, run rigorous experiments, and translate learnings into product improvements for an audience that isn’t human.

Expect to design experiments, analyze results, and stay ahead of emerging agent tools like Hermes and OpenClaw. This is a hands-on engineering role with strong product impact and independence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Shipping high-quality products fast, not prototypes.
• Comfort designing A/B tests and reading behavioral data.
• Familiarity with agent-facing surfaces: MCPs, CLIs, APIs, documentation.
• Curiosity about how agents select tools and interact with products.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship A/B tests across agent-facing surfaces to observe usage.
• Turn experiment results into shipped product improvements quickly.
• Track emerging agent tools and harnesses to understand implications for us.
• Form hypotheses about agent tool use and test in production.
• Operate independently in a space without a playbook, owning the problem end to end.
• Bring scientific rigor to product development without turning it into a research project.
