Firecrawl is seeking an Agent Experience Engineer to own how agents discover, understand, and use the Firecrawl platform. You will ship features rapidly, run rigorous A/B tests, and translate results into product improvements for an audience that isn’t human.

This role emphasizes engineering excellence, data-driven decision making, and autonomous execution in a fast-moving startup environment in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Design and ship A/B tests across agent-facing surfaces to see how agents actually use Firecrawl.
• Turn experiment results into shipped product improvements, fast.
• Track emerging agent tools and harnesses to understand their impact.
• Form hypotheses and test them in production with scientific rigor.
• Operate independently in a space without a fixed playbook.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship A/B tests across agent-facing surfaces — MCPs, CLIs, skills, APIs, documentation.
• Turn experiment results into shipped product improvements, fast.
• Track emerging agent tools and harnesses closely to interpret their meaning.
• Form hypotheses about how agents discover and use tools, then test them.
• Own the problem end to end with autonomy in an evolving space.
• Bring scientific rigor to product development without turning it into a research project.
