Firecrawl is seeking an experienced Engineer to own how agents discover, understand, and use Firecrawl. You will design and run experiments, analyze results, and translate findings into concrete product improvements for an audience of developers and agents. The role emphasizes shipping velocity, learning speed, and a strong product mindset.

Based in SF or Toronto, the team operates on-site five days a week. The position requires 5+ years of experience and eligibility to work in the US or Canada.

Qualifications

5+ years of engineering experience.
Strong experimentation and data instincts.
Proven track record shipping features quickly, not just prototypes.

Responsibilities

Design and ship A/B tests across agent-facing surfaces (MCPs, CLIs, skills, APIs, documentation).
Turn experiment results into shipped product improvements quickly.
Track emerging agent tools and models to anticipate impact.
Form hypotheses about tool discovery and interpretation, and test in production.
Own the problem end-to-end from question to shipped answer.
Bring scientific rigor to product development without making it a full research project.
