Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Development Experience Engineer to shape agent-driven development on AWS. You will build with agents across AWS services, identify friction, and convert learnings into blogs, sample code, tutorials, and guidance. Collaborate with service teams to provide technical resources developers rely on.

You will join the AWS Developer Experience organization, contributing to education, tools, and guidance to enable developer success and a global developer community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience writing for developer and technical audiences: blog, product documentation, technical information
• 4+ years of building production software experience
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (C/C++/C#, Node.JS, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby)
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants in real development workflows

Responsibilities

• Build agent-driven development experiences across AWS services
• Identify friction and transform findings into content, guidance, and resources
• Document what works and what’s missing through blogs, samples, and tutorials
• Collaborate with service teams to advocate for changes and provide feedback to product teams
• Raise the bar on agentic content and standards across the org
